NOTHING Stream ‘Tired Of Tomorrow’ in Full; Announce Custom Emojis & Tattoo Shop Promo
The wait is finally over – Tired Of Tomorrow, the new full-length from Philadelphia alt rock/shoegaze phenoms NOTHING, is now available for streaming in full via NPR, who said of the album, “its 10 songs delve into anxiety and addiction, mental illness and mortality, while channeling anguish — both physical and emotional — into catharsis.” Tired Of Tomorrow can be heard now in full at this location.
Additionally, NOTHING have just announced a plethora of new media and events in celebration of the album’s release next Friday. The band recently launched a new contest and interactive web page in support of Tired Of Tomorrow: NOTHING want to know what YOU are tired of! Fans can create their own memes and share them for a chance to win a Nothing prize pack including merch, concert tickets, and more. The three fans whose memes generate the most likes will be declared the winners. Visit tiredoftomorrow.com to create your memes now.
NOTHING have also unveiled an exclusive emoji pack companion to their new album Tired Of Tomorrow. Created by Emoji Fame, these emojis are not your normal cutesy emoji set – the band members have black eyes and missing teeth, there’s a bloody bass, and it has a CoronaRita emoji to wash it all down. The emojis represent familiar touchstones within the world NOTHING have created and will be recognizable to fans of the band. Look out for Nicky’s dog, white lighters, handcuffs, and a burning police car stylized like the Philadelphia PD. Gavin Rhodes, co-founder of Emoji Fame, called the emoji pack “the most twisted, edgy emojis ever released” – check out more screen shots of the entire emoji pack below and get them via the Emoji Fame app here. NOTHING and Rhodes also recently conducted a new interview with Noisey about the emojis, which you can read in full here.
Philadelphia’s NOTHING have partnered with 15+ tattoo shops across the globe to offer fans custom Tired of Tomorrow tattoos this coming Friday May 13th in celebration of the new album’s release! The tattoos, designed by Eric Kenney, will not only bring track titles from the band’s new LP to life but will also incorporate traditional Friday the 13th themes. A complete listing of participating shops is available at this location.
NOTHING have also shared the third and fourth installments of their six-part studio documentary about the making of Tired Of Tomorrow via The Deli Radio. Watch the videos now in the playlist below.
Parts one and two are available for streaming via the Youtube playlist below. The band’s new music videos for the songs “Eaten By Worms” and “Vertigo Flowers” are also available for streaming on the same playlist.
