MAGRUDERGRIND Premiere Video for “Sacrifical Hire” via Loudwire
Brooklyn grind/powerviolence trio MAGRUDERGRIND have revealed a new video for “Sacrificial Hire”, the lead single from the band’s new album II. The video can be streamed AT THIS LOCATION.
MAGRUDERGRIND had to say about the video, “We’re excited to collaborate with filmmaker Richard Rankin to bring a visual dimension to the lyrical themes of II. ‘Sacrificial Hire’ speaks to the vulnerability of a feeble mind to religious extremism and self sacrifice. The visuals an unhinged window into that hallucinatory fanaticism.”
MAGRUDERGRIND announced their return after a six-year hiatus with the brand-new record II, set to be released on CD/LP/Digital via Relapse Records on February 12, 2016. Again recorded with engineer Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studios and mastered by Brad Boatright (Obituary, Nails), II is a savage manifesto of scathing political and personal revolution and unquestionably MAGRUDERGRIND‘s most crushing and accomplished material to date.
Additionally, MAGRUDERGRIND will head out on a month-long European tour with Primitive Man beginning February 26th in Tilburg, NL and running through March 27th in Antwerpen, BE. MAGRUDERGRIND will also be performing at the first-ever Choosing Death Fest, hosted by Decibel Magazine in Philadelphia this coming April. A complete list of dates can be found below. More North American dates will be announced soon.
