MAGRUDERGRIND Announce New Album ‘II’, Premiere New Song “Sacrificial Hire”, Reveal EU Tour Dates
Brooklyn grind/powerviolence trio MAGRUDERGRIND have announced their return after a six-year hiatus with their brand-new record II, set to be released in February 2016. Again recorded with engineer Kurt Ballou at GodCity Studios and mastered by Brad Boatright (Obituary, Nails), II is a savage manifesto of scathing political and personal revolution and unquestionably MAGRUDERGRIND’s most crushing and accomplished material to date. Noisey has premiered the first single, “Sacrificial Hire”, which can be streamed AT THIS LOCATION. The band said about the new album,“‘Sacrificial Hire’ is about the psychological state necessary to keep Jihadist movements alive and the idea of submission and cowardice passing for martyrdom. Also, we ripped the first riff off of Agnostic Front.”
Additionally, MAGRUDERGRIND will head out on a month-long European tour with Primitive Man beginning February 26th in Tilburg, NL and running through March 27th in Antwerpen, BE. A complete list of dates can be found below. North American dates will be announced soon.
